When did the policy to report to the legal “desk” / “department” was introduced?

prior to 1993 this was the policy that as an elder we had.
do you know when this policy was introduced or started and what was the history behind it?.

I would like to wish you ALL best wishes in your journey towards freedom. The road is not always easy but today we are seeing all over the world how the JWs Org is being exposed. Governments are realizing that they should deal with this organization seriously, lawsuits are being filed in USA, Canada, Australia, UK and many other European countries. We all look forward for 2019 to continue seeing the work of many of our colleagues bearing more fruit in helping others freeing themselves from the tentacles of the Watchtower. Good Luck

Request your S-77or S-79 if you have been disfellowshiped or disassociated from the Branch Office
by Paul Bonanno inif you have been disfellowshiped or disassociated you can request a copy of the s-77 or s-79 from the branch office to see what the elders wrote.. if you write to the british branch they will ask you to pay £10 and a copy of your identification card or letter by your lawyer..

Court of Appeal Civil Division UK - "A" v The Trustees of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and Ors 7th July 2016
by Paul Bonanno inin june 2015 the high court of justice in london awarded damages of £275,000 to an unnamed women known only as 'amelia' alleged stewart abused her from the age of four and threatened that she would be "damned as a sinner" if she told anyone about the abuse.
the abuse ended only when stewart was arrested for offenses against another child.
the court held that the watchtower society failed to warn the members of the congregation about their knowledge on past abuse by a child molester in the congregation.

I am so pleased with the ruling that Lord Justice Floyd gave yesterday against the Trustees of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society and Ors. Well done to Dr.Kathleen Hallisey and AO ADVOCATES. More cases will soon be presented.
